IMG Names McNamara V.P of Business Development

Global sports, media and entertainment company IMG has named John P. McNamara vice president of business development. He will be based out of the company’s Chicago office.

McNamara will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities for the company throughout the Midwestern United States, according to a press release. Prior to joining IMG, McNamara spent 14 years at Turner Broadcasting where most recently he served as senior vice president and national sales manager.

IMG Sports & Entertainment operates in 30 countries and is made up of several diverse businesses, including product and brand licensing; consulting services; event ownership and management; collegiate marketing and media and licensing among others.
