BAE Systems announced it is cutting an additional 150 to 200 jobs in Fairfield, Ohio. The layoffs are in addition to the 100 jobs the company said were being cut earlier this month.

BAE Systems, a UK-based defense contractor, told the Cincinnati Inquirer the jobs are being eliminated because several big contracts are expiring and defense spending is being reduced. The cuts will be made throughout March and will mostly involve temporary, contract positions, though some full-time positions will also be cut.

The company will employ about 1,500 in Fairfield and West Chester following the cuts.

BAE Systems has 107,000 employees worldwide and generates $36 billion in revenue.
