Warner Chilcott Laying Off 163 Workers in Ohio

Pharmaceutical company Warner Chilcott is expected to lay off 163 employees in Mason, Ohio.

According to the Dayton Daily News, the company told the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services that the layoffs would begin May 31 and end Aug. 31. They are set to include several management positions, scientists and researchers. Some of the affected employees will be offered positions elsewhere with the company, according to the OJFS Web site.

Warner Chilcott is an international pharmaceutical company that focuses on three “core” therapeutic areas: women’s healthcare, dermatology and urology.
