Daily Finance reports that media retailer Borders, just days after revealing its new dual CEO leadership structure, will layoff more employees, its third round in six months.  The exact number of employees on the chopping block has not been disclosed but the layoffs will predominantly affect the company’s Paperchase division and its 337 shops located throughout the U.S.  According to Daily Finance, Paperchase’s entire U.S. field team has been sacked as well as many managerial positions.

In January, Boarders shaved off some 164 corporate management positions.  On March 4, what has been called “Black Thursday” by Borders’ employees, the book seller fired an undisclosed number of store employees, including inventory supervisors and part-timers.
