U.S. Postal Service’s HR Chief Becomes NAHR Fellow

human-resourcesAnthony Vegliante, chief human resources officer for the United States Postal Service, has been received the nation’s top honor in the field of human resources.

Vegilante received the distinction of Fellow during the National Academy of Human Resources on November 4th.

President of NAHR, Richard Antoine, said, “[Anthony] is an outstanding HR professional who has made major contributions to the Postal Service and its employees while adhering to the highest ethical and governance standards. There have been only 136 HR professionals who have been deemed worth of admittance into the National Academy, and we are honored that Tony is able to join this elite group.”

Among other NAHR Fellows are HR officials for companies like American Express, Coca-Coal, General Motors, and UPS.

The Postal Service employs over 580,000 career employees. Vegliante is in charge of labor relations, employee development and diversity and employee resource management functions.
