Former Luzerne County HR Director Sentenced To Prison

Pennsylvania’s Luzerne County will see its former HR director, Doug Richards, head off for a lengthy stint in prison.

Richards plead guilty to charges of accepting a bribe to a federal court back in January. The former HR director took more than $5,000 in cash bribes from a staffing agency in New York that had a no-bid contract with Luzerne County.

Richards is just one of a whopping thirty plus persons being faced with charges amidst a federal corruption probe.
