Lockheed slashes 1200 jobs

Almost 1200 employees would be removed from Lockheed- country’s defense solutions provider, whereby most layoffs (25%) would be done to the middle management. Most of these changes have been caused due to the fact that orders for space satellites are down. Vice president of Space system units says that this move has been done to improve efficiencies and remain competitive.
