Layoff Notices Given to 321 Workers in New York

Layoff notices were sent to 321 New York state workers. CSEA has entered into an agreement with Gov. Andrew Cuomo that reduced the number of layoffs. PEF, the second biggest state union after the CSEA, is negotiating with Cuomo and has knocked the latest layoff notices. The layoffs are in the State Department of Environmental Conservation, the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, Department of Health and the Department of Transportation.
