Teacher Layoffs Trying to be Slowed Down by President Obama

A proposal that President Obama is planning on introducing tonight will hopefully help save thousands of teacher’s jobs throughout the US.  A similar measure was signed by the president last August, and that measure was able to save about 100,000 jobs.  The proposal is expected to be one that would send billions of dollars to states throughout the US to slow down or stop these layoffs before they happen.
