AOL Announces New Chief People Officer

The AOL Incorporation, which stands for America Online, has recently made an announcement which has named John Reid-Dodick as the new Chief People Officer. Prior to this announcement, Reid-Dodick was working as the Global Head for the HR department at the Thomas Reuters Markets. He has plenty of experience, especially when it comes to HR and solving those necessary problems, according to MarketWatch .

Reid-Dodick is described as a leader who will have absolutely no problem leading the HR department for the AOL Inc. He will be working to help the company grow and expand while becoming more successful along with helping the employees of the company become more successful along the way as well. He will be stationed in the New York headquarters for AOL.

Tim Armstrong, the CEO and Chairman of AOL says, “We are thrilled to welcome John to our AOL executive team.” He also says of Roid-Dodick, “He and our HR team will lead our company’s very important commitment to recruiting, developing and empowering our employees so they can thrive at work. John is a perfect example of the passionate, professional and dedicated talent that we continue to attract to AOL.”

With his new position, Reid-Dodick will use media and advertising as a means of attracting talent. When asked about joining with AOL Inc, he says, “I’m excited to join AOL because of its strong focus on attracting world-class talent and nurturing a highly creative, collaborative and productive culture.”  Reid-Dodick also says,”AOL is an iconic and trusted brand, and I’m delighted to be part of the AOL family.”  It seems both the company as well as Reid-Dodick are excited to be partnering with one another.

Reid-Dodick has lots of experience in the HR department field. He has worked with HR for Reuters in the area of New York as well as London. He was a lawyer and first started with Reuters back in the mid-1990’s. After starting with Reuters, he worked as the General Counsel for three years from 1997 until 2000. He also worked as an associate from Sullivan & Cromwell for five full years and for Honorable Robert W. Sweet for an entire year, from 1988 until 1989.

Reid-Dodick has what it takes to help the AOL family continue to thrive. He is talented and organized, he is a leader and has received plenty of awards for his excellence. He has even been featured in various publications.

AOL has been allowing Internet users to connect with the online world for many years now. This company is a well-known and loved company that people can trust. It is no wonder why Reid-Dodick is so ecstatic to work with such a reputable company that has such an outstanding reputation.
