The head of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mary Schapiro, has buckled to lobbyist pressure to slow down the implementation of Title II of the JOBS Act. This is according to federal Representative Patrick McHenry, who cited an email from the Consumer Federation of America, who reported requested a public comment and notice period, on what otherwise was being implemented by a bureaucratic method called interim final rule.
