Giles County Business to Layoff Workers

Virginia Workforce Network’s website stated that Mundy Support Services LLC would layoff around 124 people from 2nd January 2013.The notice was issued on 13th December 2013. Mundy provides maintenance services. The primary reason behind layoff was to reduce internal workforce thereby increasing cost savings. However, Celanese plant in Narrows is the only local customer for Mundy Support Services LLC.
