Layoffs Loom at Time Inc.

Close on the heels of what other publishing giants have been keen to do, Time Inc. is also now planning to cut hundreds of jobs. Although the reported decision is not quite surprising, what’s not understandable is where these hapless staff will be able to find a new opening. Laying off 500 to 700 jobs is definitely a major move by the publishing giant that looks to shave $100 million in costs.
