The economy can still be rough for some businesses, and one business was forced to implement layoffs and then wonder about how to cover individuals with health insurance in relation to COBRA. When a business is no longer sponsoring a group healthcare plan, it does not need to cover just one individual under COBRA, and therefore it may get rid of the healthcare policy associated with COBRA. This is all according to Pennsylvania law.
