News Corp. Posts 36% Jump In Earnings
Post Views 0News Corp. reported a 36% climb in earnings for its first quarter in the new fiscal year. News Corp. posted a net of $775 million, which equated to 30 cents a share. The company was benefited from a $90 million, which added three cents to every share.
Analysts with Thomson Reuters predicted an average of 24 cents per share.
It owed the jump to an increase in its advertising markets, driven by television networks and publishing.
News Corp’s top line revenue grew 3.2%, resting at $7.43 billion.
