GE to Cut 60 Jobs in Iowa

Some of the reductions will come from early retirees.
The facility currently employs 313 people. As of the 2000 census, West Burlington had a population of 3,161.
The General Electric Company, or GE, is a multinational technology and services conglomerate incorporated in the State of New York. In terms of market capitalization as of September 30, 2008, GE is the world’s tenth largest company.
