Clark County Schools May Cut 700 Jobs

A $2.1 billion spending plan will being considered for adoption by April 15th.
Each Vegas school has been told to reduce staff by 3%, and administration must cut its budget by 12%.
The nation’s fifth-largest school district needs to cut $120 million, on top of $130 million in budget reductions already this year.
The Nevada Legislature is still working on a state budget, so per-pupil funding won’t be known until June.
