The Party Is Over For Obama

President Barack Obama will assemble his senior economic advisers today, Wednesday 21, to discuss his economic stimulus plan.

White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs said, “He’ll meet with his economic advisers. I think it’s in the afternoon.” He did say that he was not positive exactly who would be there.

Obama’s inauguration was surrounded by a festive three days, but performances from Beyonce and Aretha Franklin aren’t going to alleviate any of the economic pressure this country is feeling. There are thousands of lay offs in almost every sector happening on a daily basis.

President Obama, however, may have some of the pressure alleviated by virtue of “walking in” on the current state of things. However, his harshest critics will attack every decision, wait for any mistake, and criticise every word he says. And they should.
