Sensis to Add 300 Jobs

Defense and aerospace electronics manufacturer Sensis plans a $44 million project to expand its DeWitt, New York HQ and add 300 jobs over the next three to five years.

Empire State Development has awarded the company a $5 million grant for the project, that will also help retain 560 jobs.

The newly created jobs have an average salary of $85,000; engineers, computer scientists and technology support personnel.

Sensis Corporation is a private company based in Syracuse. Sensis specializes in radar and passive sensors for airport surveillance and air defense.
