FleetwoodFleetwood Enterprises has laid off 170 more workers from its Decatur, Indiana recreational vehicle plant.

The California-based company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy this week, and the layoffs will leave its Decatur plant with 450 workers.

More than 1,000 worked at the plant a year ago.

The firm characterized the layoffs as permanent.
