OSU Extension Cuts 22 Jobs

Ohio State University Extension announced 22 job cuts this week.

Spokesperson Suzanne Steele confirmed that 22 of the extension’s 235 education jobs have been eliminated. The extension employs 822 people statewide.

Hours will be reduced at the end of the month.

The extension said it intends to reorganize and pool resources in nine areas of the state, and deploy technology to increase efficiency.
