The new owners of the rock ‘n’ roll theme park opened applications Monday to all job seekers. Because the first thing you think of when you think “rock ‘n’ roll” is “theme park.” And the second is “South Carolina.”
Former employees began applying two weeks ago. The park hopes to reopen on Memorial Day.
The park has already received 1,000 applications for the 750 to 1,000 jobs available. No hirings have yet taken place.
A federal bankruptcy judge approved the sale of Hard Rock Park last month for $25 million to a group of investors. The $400 million, 55-acre park opened last April. But it had closed by September, as its former owners declared bankruptcy.
Because the first thing you think of when you think “rock ‘n’ roll” is “theme park.” And the second is “South Carolina.”
