North Carolina Bribes MiTek to Create 29 Jobs
Post Views 0The State of North Carolina has given Missouri’s MiTek $28,000 to create 29 jobs through an expansion in Edenton, population 5,400.
The new jobs in Edenton come from South Carolina and Indiana, and will pay an average wage of $26,000.
The Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary will invest $2 million in the Chowan County expansion over the next three years. The Edenton facility currently employs 75 people.
MiTek is an international building products and equipment manufacturer with 49 offices and manufacturing facilities worldwide.
