Oshkosh B’Gosh Relocating or Eliminating 100 Jobs

Carter’s, owner of OshKosh B’Gosh, announced that 100 positions at the child apparel company’s headquarters in Oshkosh, Wisconsin will be relocated or eliminated by the end of 2009.

Some jobs will go to Carter’s plant in Shelton, Connecticut, or to its corporate HQ in Atlanta, Georgia.

Founded in 1898 as a small-town manufacturer of adult work clothing, OshKosh B’Gosh has become best known for its children’s clothing, especially bib overalls. The company has over one hundred outlet stores in the US.
