Sunrise Senior LivingMcLean, Virginia-based Sunrise Senior Living will cut 150 jobs in its headquarters and regional operations.

The cuts will be complete by early 2010. The firm is attempting to stave off bankruptcy.

Sunrise Senior Living employs 40,000 people at 435 senior communities in the US, Canada, Germany and the UK.
