Pebble Beach Laying Off 47 Employees

Pebble Beach Resorts is laying off 47 employees, including 14 in management.

The company eliminated 29 jobs in November, including 24 managers.

Usually, the firm’s busy season begins in May. But cancellations have exceeded new bookings in four of the past six months.

The company runs several luxury resorts and four golf courses. It employs more than 1,500 people.
