OmniSourceFort Wayne, Indiana-based scrap metal processor OmniSource has cut 209 jobs, including 135 at its headquarters.

The company employs 2,600 people, including 2,000 in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.

OmniSource, one of the largest processors and distributors of scrap and secondary metals in North America, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Steel Dynamics, and has 65 facilities located in the eastern United States and Canada.
