Farmers Group to Expand Michigan Campus, Hire 1,600

Farmers Group will spend $84.4 million to expand its Grand Rapids, Michigan campus, adding 1,600 employees and creating 11,000 direct, spin-off and construction jobs in the state.

Farmers will build two new buildings totaling 275,000 square feet, housing offices, a training facility, a call center and a print & distribution center.

The Michigan Economic Growth Authority Board has granted $62 million in tax incentives over 18 years for the project
