Michigan Announces 3,000 New Jobs
Post Views 0Michigan’s Democratic governor, Jennifer Mulhern Granholm, has announced that the Michigan Economic Development Corporation is helping five companies expand in the state, creating 3,070 jobs and $138 million in new investment.
The projects include a bio-based chemical company; a health care manufacturing start-up; and redevelopment that will transform abandoned and contaminated sites into new facilities.
Formed in 1999, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation serves as a one-stop resource for business retention, expansion and relocation projects.
