Bottling Plant in Michigan Closing, 90 Jobs Will be Lost
Post Views 1The Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, based in Plano, Texas, will close one of its bottling plants in Holland, Michigan at the end of this year. The closing of the plant will eliminate 90 jobs. The plant does contract bottling for other companies and one of its main customers, Gatorade, has decided to do its own bottling. Two other plants in the area will not be affected.
Workers that lose their jobs will receive severance packages and assistance finding new employment, the company said.
