Sahara Shuttering Hotel Rooms for the Winter
Post Views 0Citing falling demand for hotel rooms in Las Vegas, the Sahara is closing two of its towers for the winter, and possibly longer. The main Tangiers tower and the casino will remain open. This falls on the heels of Binion’s decision to close all its rooms, which went into effect yesterday. It’s not known yet how many jobs will be lost as a result of the Sahara’s decision.
The Sahara opened in 1952 and has a total of 1,720 rooms. It is owned by Los Angeles based SBE Entertainment.
