Adelphoi Village JPEGAdelphoi Village in Latrobe, Pennsylvania has announced that it will lay off 70 workers. According to a notice the organization filed with the Pennsylvania Bureau of Labor & Industry, Adelphoi is closing its “Northern Tier Facility” and will lay off 65 full time and 5 part time employees. The facility will close April 9. Adelphoi Village provides group home services and works with Children and Youth agencies and juvenile probation offices. It has services in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Delaware. The organization was founded by Benedictine monk Father Paschal Morlino in 1971. According to their website Adelphoi provided 3,899 services to 2,868 youth from 64 countries worldwide.
