fordFord Motor Co. is adding 60 jobs at an engine plant outside of Cleveland. The company plans to invest $155 million in the facility, which will produce fuel-efficient V-6 engines for the 2011 Mustang.

Overall, Ford plans to invest $1.8 billion and add 1,260 jobs across North America for productions of engines and transmissions for its 2011 models. The plant in Cleveland is expected to produce two-thirds of the engines for the Mustang. It is one of 11 Ford factories that is participating in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing Incentives Program, a series of grants and loans to be used for development of advanced technology vehicles.
