Victory Industrial Products Ceasing Operations in Ohio

ohioflag_160x120Victory Industrial Products, which produces industrial tanks an enclosures, has closed the doors to its headquarters in Batavia Township, Ohio.

According to a filing with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Victory Industrial “suddenly and unexpectedly” lost it financing and the facility would be closed permanently. Business Journal reports the company employed 123 people in Batavia and also has a facility near Phoenix that employed 36.

Victory Industrial had been in Batavia since building the 100,000 square foot facility in 2006. The company was founded in 1985 as a specialty trailer manufacturer and was sold to an equity firm.
