BAE Systems has announced they will be eliminating 130 positions over the next several months from their Butler County plant in Fairfield, Ohio.

The company issued a news release on Friday declaring this third round of layoffs after having previously announced around 100 workers back in March and 180 on April 13 were let go.

BAE is a global defense, security and aerospace company with over 100,000 employees worldwide.

The company has several defense contract that have recently been completed and said “we likewise must continue to adjust and align our Butler County workforce with existing customer needs and product requirements.”
