Alphatec Names Heather Rider Global H.R. Vice President
Post Views 1Alphatec Holdings Inc., the parent company of medical device maker Alphatec Spine Inc., has named Heather Rider as its new senior vice president of global human resources.
Rider has over 25 years of executive-level human resource experience, the company said in a press release. Most recently, she served as human resources V.P. for Intuitive Surgical Inc. in Sunnyvale Calif. In the role she helped grow the company’s revenue from $227 million to $1.3 billion and led in the company’s global expansion.
“We are pleased to have Heather join our senior management team,” said Dirk Kuyper, Alphatec president and chief executive officer. “Her experience will be extremely valuable as we continue to integrate our global team and develop the culture necessary to be a worldwide leader in the spinal market.”
Alphatec Spine is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alphatec Holdings Inc. The medical device company designs, develops, manufactures and markets products for the surgical treatment of spine disorders.
