U.S. on Track for Fewest Layoffs Since 2000
Post Views 0Private outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas announced today that the U.S. is likely to experience the fewest number of annual layoffs since 2000 by the end of this year.
According to the firm, when juxtaposed with 2009, each month of 2010 has so far reached smaller total layoff numbers.
The 81 chief executive officers that abandoned ship in October has been the smallest number in 18 months.
According to their website, Challenger, Gray & Christmas is the “first,
oldest and premier outplacement consulting organization” in the U.S.
