There are plans to cut roughly 70 jobs at the San Antonio Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, which should happen by the end of the year.

The layoffs will begin on June 24 of this year and go until the end of the year.  The workers that will be affected in these upcoming layoffs are one administrator, two HR workers, 14 in building and management services, 25 in cash services, and 28 law enforcement workers.

According to Blake Hastings, who is VP in charge of the branch in San Antonio, these layoffs are happening because the branch is moving its cash operations to a vendor that is privately held.
