Dog trips woman at home, woman wins workers’ compensation

Employers can now be sued for workers’ compensation benefits even if the employees were working from home! An Appeals court in Oregon found that a woman was eligible for compensation benefits from her employer because she hurt herself by tripping over her dog while working from home.
