Can governments be trusted anymore?

The people’s confidence in governments is diminishing to a great extent, not for the fear of wrong things but for the government’s incapacity and inability to good things on stock markets. This can be easily visualised by the fact about the plunge of European Stock Market on Monday and the recovery within minutes by the Central Bank’s announcement of buying Italian and Spanish bonds which again started to fall by evening.
