National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) new posting requirement has raised criticism among the employers as the new rule require employers to notify employees of their rights under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). The post gives right to employees to act together to improve wages and working conditions and to join a union to bargain collectively for their needs. The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) said that this is “punitive”, as this could literally trap millions of small business owners. Meanwhile union leaders are praising the measure saying that “The rule is a responsible and much-needed step”.
