Congress Must Invest for the Long Term

Ted Ellis, the mayor of Bluffton, Indiana, and the president of the National League of Cities said that continued improvement is seen in today’s jobs numbers but remains stimulated by the speed of the recovery. He said that though local leaders continue to support the investments in infrastructure and human capital to create jobs, but the congress needs to agree on a long term transportation program and they should take actions to invest in nation’s workforce.
