Employment ads in The Signal received a big face-lift on Wednesday, when the newspaper added multi-media features to its classified employment liner ads.
Part of the newspaper’s “Bigger, Bolder, Better” campaign to provide enhanced reader features, both in print and online, employment liner ads can now be automatically broadcast online as well.
Here, Job seekers can access the job offerings by clicking on the Top Jobs tab or Top Jobs Video icons placed on the front page of the newspaper’s website www.the-signal.com. According to Cliff Chandler, Advertising Director, the move is designed to take advantage of the newspaper’s average 860,000 page views monthly, providing greater reach and more options for advertisers.
Advertisers don’t need to lift a hand to produce the online videos. Information listed in the job ad is automatically inserted into 20 to 30 second commercial spots using pre-shot generic industry videos.
