Apple’s Job Ad Indicates Use of Oracle, IBM Servers in NC Data Center

A job offer for a new Solaris systems engineer on Apple’s web site indicates that the company is running Oracle and IBM servers from within its Maiden, N.C. data center. Interestingly enough, not much is made public about the specific hardware used in the data center, with the exception that the facility is highly regarded for its use of renewable energy.
