Update: Machinima’s Reported Layoffs

Machinima, part of the YouTube network, has reportedly laid off 23 of its 200 staff, according to its editor-in-chief Rob Smith. Smith also reported that there are 15 job openings. This update to the original story states that the job openings are in the Sales, Marketing, and Product divisions, and claims that the layoffs affected less than 10% of the workforce, slightly at odds with the numbers released earlier.
