Schneider Electric to Shut Plant, Send Jobs to Mexico
Post Views 8France’s Schneider Electric will shut down a plant in Seneca, South Carolina, laying off 90 people in the town of 7,700.
The firm will send the work to factories in Monterrey, Mexico.
Those laid off will get severance pay and outplacement.
Paris, France-based Schneider Electric was founded in 1836 and manufactures electrical equipment.
