How to make a time schedule at work

Too many things are present which would threaten your time and again actually. Just when you have landed upon the firm resolution of working without a break for sometime you would find a telephone ringing and some more new projects knocking at your door. And you dear supervisor is ever ready to look and search for results that are always a challenge on your part to produce perfectly or accurately. But with a little judicious investment of time, trust me my friend it would not be that impossible to achieve.

The first piece of instruction that I would like to share with you is that you need to prioritize. Start with your desk. Just know that you need to have them sorted out and cleared. For your convenience simply mark these work with headings reading “urgent” “to be done” and lastly “file”. first and fore most you must attend to the urgent work. Remove the rest from your desk and then as you manage with the urgent work l and then lay your hands over the “to be done” work and lastly the file work. Before that keep the other two piles miles away from your sight or else they are bound to create a pressure on you.

Now we come to time management portion of the management work. Always give yourself some clearance time since it is really important for you. For example the deadline for any work is 16th of august; you better have it labeled for 14 of august. That would psychologically create a pressure telling you that you need to complete the work on this particular time. There is no harm if you get to complete the work before time, it really does not mean that you have to start working on other projects as soon as you get over with it but then you can choose the time to heave a sigh of relief actually.

And you may never know that what may crop up later that would add to the delay in submission; similarly you better schedule all your work of hours, periods, days and months in this way. You will be amazed to find the benefits actually.

Now you need to consider phone calls and emails as important as well and just simply not choose to keep them aside and avoid them so that you are able to work smoothly. This is just not possible. You must set separate time for them so that you are able to attend to these problems with some time.
