First Tennessee Bank Cutting 250 Jobs

First Tennessee Bank will cut 250 jobs in the next year, but it’s uncertain how many jobs in the Knoxville region will be eliminated.

A bank spokesperson said that 125 of those jobs will be reduced through attrition and not filling open positions, and that “the number of positions that will impact East Tennessee have not been determined.”

First Tennessee is a financial services company based in Memphis, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of First Horizon National Corporation.
