Davis Joint Unified School District to Cut 54 Jobs
Post Views 0The Davis, California Joint Unified School District has voted to eliminate 54 positions. The decision was made at a school board meeting held at Harper Junior High School yesterday evening.
The 54 positions include teaching jobs, administrative positions and service jobs.
Teachers who will keep their jobs and are represented by a union, and are still negotiating possible salary reductions.
The school district has to cut a $3.5 million budget deficit.
