Delta Air LinesDelta Air Lines, the world’s largest carrier, will trim seats on international flights by an additional 10%, and is considering cutting more jobs.

Delta will have to “reassess our staffing needs” to match the scaled back operations, CEO Richard Anderson and President Ed Bastian said in a memo to employees.

Any new payroll cuts would add to the elimination of almost 2,100 jobs through a buyout program in February. That followed 6,000 cuts at Delta and Northwest Airlines, before Delta bought the smaller carrier in October.

Delta has about 75,000 employees.

Delta Air Lines is based and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Delta operates an expansive domestic and international network, spanning North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
